Exam Day
The CPFPP exam can be taken either online or in person, giving candidates flexibility based on their preference. Those choosing the online option will complete the exam through ProctorU’s live remote proctoring service, allowing them to test securely from a home or office setting with a webcam and stable internet connection. Alternatively, candidates may take the exam in person at a Meazure Learning test center.
For online testing, candidates are required to download the Guardian browser from ProctorU to ensure a secure testing environment. It’s important to use a computer that allows installation of third-party software; employer-issued devices are not recommended due to potential firewall or security restrictions. Be sure to review ProctorU’s equipment requirements in advance to confirm your setup is supported.
For those who prefer an in-person experience, on-site testing is available at authorized test centers. See the list of Meazure Learning Test Sites to find a test center near you.
The exam is available year-round and can be scheduled within a three-month testing window after approval. Results are provided within 72 hours, and a passing score is 65% or higher. If needed, candidates may retake the exam up to two additional times within one year of approval.
